    First Aid / CPR / AED: A comprehensive 5.5-hour course, or more advanced 8-hour course, providing a 2-year NSC certification. Defensive Driving: Available in 4-hour Refresher, 6-hour, and 8-hour formats, each offering a 2-year NSC certification. Lift Truck Operator: An 8-hour course leading to a 3-year NSC certification. Lift Truck Operator Train the Trainer: A 16-hour, 2-day course designed for Trainers, resulting in a 3-year certification.
  • Are there additional expenses for training sessions held outside your region?
    Yes, for out-of-region training sessions, additional expenses include travel time, mileage/gas, overnight accommodations, meals, flights, prolonged stay hotels, and rental vehicles. Typically through reimbursement with receipts.
  • What is the minimum number of students required for a Course?
    A minimum of five students is required for each course. If there are fewer than five students, a $500 fee is included.

Module 11: Poisoning and Allergic Reactions Objectives: After completing this session, participants should be able to: Decide when to call the Poison Control Center or 9-1-1 in cases of poisoning. Identify first aid steps for victims of swallowed poison. Identify first aid steps for victims of inhaled poison. In industrial settings, state the importance of gathering information onthe location and effects of chemicals, the Safety Data Sheets and other chemical emergency information and location of antidote supplies. Identify the steps of first aid for a victim with: a snake bite, a spider bite, a bee or wasp sting, a scorpion sting, a tick bite. Determine the first aid for a victim of poison ivy, oak or sumac.
